LA BRUTALE IS AN ARTEFACT

OF APPLES

 

A larch wood pallet: LA BRUTALE's basic object, closely linked to the history of one of the designers. Created at the time of palletization in the 70's, its unique dimensions, a perfect square of 1120*1120 mm, made it possible to accommodate the specific dimensions of apple crates.

Discreet without erasing the traces of time, handmade craft work gives the palette its new life.

 

This fragment of history is that of a terroir of Berry, formerly the kingdom of Cravert apple in the 1950s.

 

OF WAVES

 

Radio and time signal transmitters : source of inspiration for the base of LA BRUTALE, closely linked to the history of one of the designers. Created in an art foundry, the 8 brushed aluminum pieces make up the base of LA BRUTALE. Pyramids with 3 sides, 180 mm high, they are inspired by the base of transmitters 350,000 mm high.

 

This fragment of history is that of transmitters-broadcasters antennas of France Inter programs on long waves, in the Berry area, and still today of the time signals of French legal time.
